Retired

Stumbled upon this old van in the woods. It looks like it's led a long and happy life!

Buoys in a boat

I love the subtle shades and textures in this picture.

I never saw a purple cow...

...but I love the colour of this one. It looks like it's wearing a velvet coat!

Night on a Bare Mountain

Winter is on it's way.

Dark skies and a watcher

Here's to...

Tofino on a warm summer evening.

Here's to the summer that's gone,
And here's to the one that's to come,
Fall winds may blow. We're sure to have snow,
But memories and hope linger on.

We live on a stunningly beautiful planet

Summer Doesn't get much better than this

Hope yours was great too!

Something to Reflect On

I'm out of town and out of touch for the next few weeks so I'm leaving a couple of pictures of may part of the world for you to reflect on.

Back in the the Fall - hope to see you then.

Shadow Shot Sunday -Ripples

I went hiking yesterday and found these watery shadows in a glacier fed lake high in the Rockies. I loved the colours in the rocks and the way the light played with the ripples on the water.
